fee 和 fare雖然都是“費用”，但它們的含意截然不同。

fee 通常是指專業(yè)服務(wù)或咨詢所索取的費用，如 lawyer’s fees (律師費)、doctor’s fees (醫(yī)師費) 或 counseling fees (咨詢費)。

至于 fare，一般而言，它僅指交通工具的票價，如公車、船舶、計程車或火車的票價或車資。

所以，搭乘公車所支付的費用，英文叫做 bus fare 而不是 bus fee；飛機票價叫做 airfare。
