2. 故宮博物館。故宮博物館又名紫禁城，坐落在天安門廣場的正北。它占地面積約72公頃，有9000多間房。其建筑面積約150000平方米，是中國現(xiàn)有最大的古代宮殿建筑群。它的宮殿展現(xiàn)出一派壯麗的景色。

2. The Palace Museum. Located just north of Tian'anmen Square, the Palace Muscum, also known as the Forbidden City, covers an area of 72 hectares and has more than 9 000 rooms. Its built area of some 150 000 square metres makes it the largest of China's existing ancient palace buildings. Its palaces and halls command a splendid view.

3. 這是我們的第五個站，也是最后一站——長城八達嶺。長城座落在八達嶺的頂端，該山由花崗巖組成，年齡為1.32億年。長城長達6350公里以上，它于公元前770年至公元前256年的東周時期為防御北方游牧部落的入侵而修建的。公元前221年，秦朝的第一個皇帝秦始皇把長城連接

3. This is our fifth and final stop – the Badaling section of the Great Wall. The wall sits on top of the Badaling mountain which consists of granite dated at 132 million years. The wall itself is more than 6 350 kilometers long and was built during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty from 770 to 256 B. C. to hold back the nomadic tribes of thc north. In 221 B. C. the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Qin Shi Huang had the wall linked and strengthened.
