鳳蕭吟(Slow Song of the Vertical Bamboo Flute)。因為簫的竹管上?？逃胁束P作為裝飾，因而稱鳳簫。Bamboo flute指“笛”； 指“蕭”時，還要加vertical才能區(qū)別于“笛”，英譯文就顯得很長了， 權(quán)衡之下，便省去“雕刻有彩鳳的”前置詞，以求簡明。

2) 詞牌中帶“吟”一類的較“歌”、“詞”更為典雅，是.一種便于吟誦、格調(diào)高雅、節(jié)奏舒緩的詩體”譯為Chant， [美國杳Jazz Chants (爵士調(diào)）],可以顯得莊重端莊。因為英語中的Chant多指宗教中的贊美詩或圣歌，意思與“吟”很相近。如“水龍吟”(Water Dragon Chant); “瑞龍吟”（Auspicious Dragon Chant)。而“歌頭”則意為前奏或序曲，可譯為Prelude。如“水調(diào)歌頭”（Prelude to Water Melody)，“鶯啼序”（Prelude of a Nightingale's Singing)。
