雖然我們對(duì)睡眠的全部功能還沒(méi)有完全了解,但不言而喻的是,睡眠對(duì)健康的重要性不亞于維生素對(duì)人體的作用。
Although we do not fully understand all the functions of sleep, yet it goes without saying that sleep is no less important to human health than vitamins.
我們一般每晚正常的睡眠時(shí)間是7-8小時(shí)左右,當(dāng)然個(gè)人需要的睡眠量會(huì)隨一些因素而有所不同。
We normally need to sleep for 7 to 8 hours each night, though the amount of sleep a person needs may vary with some factors from individual to individual.
但是值得關(guān)注的現(xiàn)象是,睡眠不足在當(dāng)今社會(huì)中非常普遍。很多人認(rèn)為睡眠不如工作、娛樂(lè)、掙錢(qián)等事情重要,以少睡來(lái)?yè)Q取他們認(rèn)為是更重要的事情。
However, what deserves serious attention is that lack of enough sleep is a widespread phenomenon in today’s society. Many people don’t deem sleep as important as work, entertainment and making money, and they trade less sleep for something they believe to be more important.
睡眠不足導(dǎo)致的睡眠問(wèn)題已成為威脅世界各國(guó)公眾健康和生活質(zhì)量的一個(gè)不可忽視的問(wèn)題。有鑒于此,每年的3月21日定為“世界睡眠日”,以喚起公眾對(duì)睡眠重要性和睡眠問(wèn)題的關(guān)注。
Sleep problems due to sleep deprivation have become a non-negligible threat to the public health worldwide. For these reasons, World Sleep Day is launched on March 21st each year to raise the public awareness of the importance of sleep and sleep problems.
充足的睡眠、均衡的飲食和適當(dāng)?shù)倪\(yùn)動(dòng),是國(guó)際社會(huì)公認(rèn)的3項(xiàng)健康標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。關(guān)注睡眠,就是關(guān)注健康;提高睡眠質(zhì)量,就提升了生活質(zhì)量。
Adequate sleep, a balanced diet and suitable exercise are the three criteria for health accepted by international community. To show concern for sleep is to take care of health; and to improve sleep quality is, therefore, to raise the life quality.
