2018年4月24日，國務(wù)委員兼外交部長王毅在北京主持召開上海合作組織外長會議后會見記者時表示，中方自去年6月接任主席國以來，以弘揚“上海精神”為主線，以鞏固團(tuán)結(jié)互信、共謀穩(wěn)定發(fā)展為目標(biāo)，積極履職盡責(zé)，在各方支持下開展了大量富有成效的工作，有三個突出特點。
On April 24, 2018, after presiding over the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed when meeting the press that since taking over the presidency last June, China has actively fulfilled its duties with carrying forward the "Shanghai Spirit" as the mainline, consolidating unity and mutual trust and jointly seeking for stability and development as goals, and carried out considerable work with remarkable achievements under the support of various sides. There are three prominent characteristics.
一是內(nèi)容全面。中方工作注重吸收各方建議、體現(xiàn)各方關(guān)切。截至目前，在中方主席國工作框架內(nèi)已成功舉辦120多項活動，內(nèi)容涵蓋政治、安全、經(jīng)濟(jì)、人文、對外交往和機(jī)制建設(shè)等方方面面，實現(xiàn)了合作領(lǐng)域全覆蓋。
二是參與廣泛。中方舉辦的豐富多彩的活動，不僅得到成員國積極支持，還吸引了觀察員國和對話伙伴踴躍參加。各國參與者中既有政府官員也有專家學(xué)者、新聞媒體、青年等社會各界代表。
The first is comprehensive content. China has focused on drawing suggestions from and demonstrating concerns of various sides. As of now, more than 120 activities have been held within the framework of China's work as the presidency. We have realized a full coverage of cooperation areas, including politics, security, economy, people-to-people and cultural engagement, external exchanges, and mechanism construction.
The second is extensive participation. The diverse activities held by China have not only been positively supported by the member states, but also attracted active participation of observer countries and dialogue partners. The participants of all countries are representatives from all circles of the society including government officials, experts, scholars, news and media, and youth.
