3. 增譯法

就是在譯文中増加泛指代詞作主語，如“人們”、“有人”、“我們”等。如：

* It is necessary to elaborate on the definition of fatigue coefficient.

我們有必要對疲勞系數(shù)的定義作詳細的解釋。（增譯了 "我們"）

* It has been found that the current mechanism in semi-conductors is entirely different from that in metal conductors.

人們發(fā)現(xiàn)，半導體的電流原理與金屬導體的電流原理完全不同。（增譯了 **人們"） 

4. 約定俗成表達法

有時可將it作形式主語的英語句子，譯為漢語中約定俗成的表達模式。如：

* It goes without saying that agriculture engineering involves both the natural sciences and the biological sciences.

不言而喻，農業(yè)工程包括自然科學與生物學。

* It is at once apparent that the current flows through T1 and T2 on a half and half basis in this circuit configuration.

一目了然，在這種電路中，電流平均地流過T1和T2。

* It follows that radar is an electronic system for locating aircraft or cloud patterns.

由此可見，雷達是用來測定飛機位置或云形位置的電子系統(tǒng)。

5. 分譯法

以上所討論的四種譯法中，形式主語it均被省略不譯。而分譯法就是將位于句尾的真正的主語先譯，為了強調，it可譯為指示代詞“這”、“這一點”等，使整個句子分譯為兩個分句。如：

* It is natural that physics should have a continuing influence on philosophy. 

物理學不斷地對哲學產生影響，這是很自然的。

* It is negligible in comparison to the starting friction of a plain bearing.

與滑動軸承的啟動摩擦相比，這是可以忽略的。
