Article 45 The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be the head of the Macao Special Administrative Region and shall represent the Region.
澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官依照本法規(guī)定對中央人民政府和澳門特別行政區(qū)負責(zé)。
The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be accountable to the Central People’s Government and the Macao Special Administrative Region in accordance with the provisions of this Law.
第四十六條澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官由年滿四十周歲，在澳門通常居住連續(xù)滿二十年的澳門特別行政區(qū)永久性居民中的中國公民擔(dān)任。
Article 46 The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be a Chinese citizen of not less than 40 years of age who is a permanent resident of the Region and has habitually resided in Macao for a continuous period of not less than 20 years.
第四十七條澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官在當(dāng)?shù)赝ㄟ^選舉或協(xié)商產(chǎn)生，由中央人民政府任命。
Article 47 The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be selected by election or through consultations held locally and be appointed by the Central People’s Government.
行政長官的產(chǎn)生辦法由附件一《澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官的產(chǎn)生辦法》規(guī)定。
The specific method for selecting the Chief Executive is prescribed in Annex I “Method for the Selection of the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region.”
第四十八條澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官任期五年，可連任一次。
Article 48 The term of office of the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be five years. He or she may serve for not more than two consecutive terms.
第四十九條澳門特別行政區(qū)行政長官在任職期內(nèi)不得具有外國居留權(quán)，不得從事私人贏利活動。
Article 49 The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, during his or her term of office, shall have no right of abode in any foreign country and shall not engage in any activities for his or her personal gains.
行政長官就任時應(yīng)向澳門特別行政區(qū)終審法院院長申報財產(chǎn)，記錄在案。
The Chief Executive, on assuming office, shall declare his or her assets to the President of the Court of Final Appeal of the Macao Special Administrative Region. This declaration shall be put on record.
