4. all of +名詞的譯法
all of +名詞（可數(shù)或不可數(shù)）常常譯為“全部……都”，如：
* All of the charges resided on the surface of the conductor.
全部電荷都分布在導體表面。
* All of the heat lost by the warmer object in cooling is gained by the colder object.
較熱物體冷卻時失去的全部能量都被較冷物體所獲得。
5. all后接定語從句的譯法
all后接定語從句時，沒有固定的翻譯方法，需譯者根據(jù)原文的意義，結合漢語的表達習慣來靈活處理。如：
* All that can be done is to convert energy from one form into another.
只能把能量從一種形式轉變?yōu)榱硪环N形式。
* All that we know as vitamins, and hormones as well as deadly poisons are all sort of organic chemicals.
我們所熟知的維生素.荷爾蒙以及致命毒藥都是有機化學物。
6. not all 和 all...not 的譯法
當all與not連用時，構成not all或all....not句型，表示部分否定，漢譯時可譯為“并非所有”。如：
* Not all signals of interest have finite energy.
并非所有我們關心的信號都有有限的能量。
* Properly speaking, not all substances exist in three states.
確切地說，并非所有的物質都有三種狀態(tài)。
* All castings are not made in sand.
不是所有鑄件都是在砂型中鑄造的。
