2. one可以代替句子中出現(xiàn)過的可數(shù)名詞，以避免重復(fù)，其復(fù)數(shù)形式為ones，可以與定冠詞連用，也可以有自己的定語。翻譯時(shí)，one和ones可還原譯為它們所代替的名詞，也可省譯。如：

* These chemical are poisonous and other ones are poisonous too.

這些化學(xué)品有毒，別的化學(xué)制品也有毒。

* Of the half dozen processes, the two basic ones are clarification and filtration.
