為了進(jìn)一步說(shuō)明翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的操作問(wèn)題，下面從譯文評(píng)價(jià)的角度在10個(gè)方面對(duì)原文和譯文加以比較，譯文的信度(即對(duì)原文忠實(shí)之程度)用0一1之間的數(shù)值表示(最低為0，最高為1)。

(一)句法結(jié)構(gòu)

原文：他昨天來(lái)過(guò)這兒了。

譯文I：He came here yesterday. [1]

譯文II：Yesterday he came here.[0.9]

譯文II將時(shí)間副詞yesterday置于句首，在英語(yǔ)里，是用來(lái)強(qiáng)調(diào)的非正常的位置，因此傳達(dá)了原文所沒有的信息，屬于“超額翻譯”。譯文I的副詞位置同原文一樣處于常位，信度較高。

(二)詞義搭配

原文：人大代表一行五人于春節(jié)前視察了這個(gè)福利中心。

譯文I：A group of five people's congress representatives inspected this welfare center on the eve of the Spring Festival. [1]

譯文II：A group of five people's congress representatives visited this welfare center on the eve of the Spring Festival. [0.8]

原文的“視察”傳達(dá)了最大的信息量，決定著全句的信度。譯文I中的“inspected”與“representatives”搭配起來(lái)，與原文的意思相符；譯文II用“visited”，意思就有出入。

(三)修辭色彩

原文：香港總督尤德爵士今晨于北京逝世。

譯文I：Sir Edward Youde, Governor of Hong Kong, passed away in Beijing this morning.[1]

譯文II：Sir Edward Youde, Governor of Hong Kong, passed away in Beijing this morning.[0.8]

譯文III：Sir Edward Youde, Governor of Hong Kong, breathed his last in Beijing this morning.[0.6]

譯文IV：Sir Edward Youde, Governor of Hong Kong, kicked the bucket in Beijing this morning.[0.4]

“逝世”用“pass away”在語(yǔ)體色彩和感情色彩上都與原文相一致。譯文III與譯文IV修辭色彩與原文有不同程度的差異。

(四)風(fēng)格層次

原文：我不善于講話，也不習(xí)慣發(fā)表演說(shuō)，我一生就沒做過(guò)教師。

譯文I：I'm not good at talking, and I'm not used to giving lectures. I've never done any teaching either. [1]

譯文II：Talking is not my province, nor is lecturing; nor have I taken up teaching as my profession, either. [0.7]

原文是口語(yǔ)體。譯文I從用詞到句式都是口語(yǔ)體，譯文II則是書面語(yǔ)言，屬于正式語(yǔ)體。兩種譯文的信度不同。

(五)邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)

原文：己所不欲，勿施干人。

譯文I：Do not do unto others what you do not want to be done by. [1]

譯文II：Do unto others as you would be done by. [0.5]

譯文II沒有表達(dá)出原文邏輯結(jié)構(gòu)所傳達(dá)的信息，因?yàn)樵牡男畔⒔裹c(diǎn)在“不欲”二宇，不能輕易改變它。譯文I采用了和原文一致的表達(dá)方式，所以信度更大。
