順譯法是指譯員按聽到的源語的句子順序，把整個句子切成意群單位或信息單位，再使用連接詞把這些單位自然連接起來，譯出整體的意思。順譯法是同聲傳譯的常用技巧，常用于國際會議、記者招待會和新聞發(fā)布會等外事現(xiàn)場即席口譯場合。例如2002年3月15日朱镕基總理在記者招待會上答記者問時說：“我認為這并不是誰要去干涉日本的內政，而是關系到日本人民和亞洲包括中國人民能不能世世代代友好下去的問題，也是關系日本人民利益的問題?！痹摼溆庙樧g法可譯為“I don't think it's an issue that should be regarded as interference in Japanese internal affairs； rather this is a serious issue that would have a direct bearing on whether or not people of Japan and people of other countries including China can develop friendly relations from generation to generation. So it is also in the interest of Japan to have this problem solved. ”譯文從連接詞到句型結構都與源語相對應。

 

拆譯法是相對于較長、較復雜的句子而言。在外事口譯特別是外交口譯中，常常會遇到關于政策性文件、綱領、條例等的翻譯。這類翻譯內容往 往句子較長，譯成目的語時會生硬冗長、啰唆拗口，因而需要將長句拆分為幾個短句，使譯文通順流暢。舉例如下我們要牢牢堅持發(fā)展是硬道理的戰(zhàn)略思想，緊緊抓住和用好重要戰(zhàn)略機遇期，堅持以科學發(fā)展觀統(tǒng)領經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展全局，堅持以經(jīng)濟建設為中心，促進社會主義經(jīng)濟建設、政治建設、文化建設與和諧社會建設全面發(fā)展，不斷滿足日益增長的物質文化需要?！痹撻L句可拆譯為 “We must adhere firmly to the strategic thinking that development is of overriding importance and keep a firm grasp of and make good use of the period of important strategic opportunities. We will stick to the scientific outlook on development in guiding overall economic and social development. While focusing on the economic development, we will continue to promote the integrated development of socialist economic, po?litical and cultural undertakings as well as the construction of a harmoni?ous society, and constantly meet the growing material and cultural needs of the people. ”譯文簡潔流暢，避免了冗長累贅。
