In today's world, the dream of the Chinese people is closely connected with the dreams of the peoples of other countries; the Chinese Dream can be realized only in a peaceful international environment and under a stable international order. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we face profound adjustments in the international landscape and international relations as well as an external environment in which regional conflicts and turmoil frequently take place, and human beings have many common challenges to address. Thus, we must keep in mind both our internal and international imperatives, continue to hold high the banner of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit, and uphold our fundamental foreign policy goal of preserving world peace and promoting common development.
