尊敬的中華青少年交響樂(lè)團(tuán)團(tuán)長(zhǎng)盧多維克·莫洛先生，
僑胞們、朋友們：
大家晚上好！
歡迎大家出席慶祝新中國(guó)成立70周年華僑華人專(zhuān)場(chǎng)音樂(lè)會(huì)，與我們共慶新中國(guó)成立70周年華誕。我還要?dú)g迎遠(yuǎn)道而來(lái)的中華青少年交響樂(lè)團(tuán)的青年音樂(lè)家們。他們今天下午剛下飛機(jī)，馬不停蹄，從機(jī)場(chǎng)趕到我們音樂(lè)會(huì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。讓我們以熱烈的掌聲對(duì)他們的到來(lái)表示熱烈的歡迎，對(duì)他們將為我們奉獻(xiàn)的這份國(guó)慶禮物表示衷心的感謝。

Good evening and welcome to the Chinese Embassy!
I am delighted to have you all with us at tonight's concert in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I wish to give an especially warm welcome to the young musicians, who arrived in London only this afternoon and come to meet us without a moment's rest. Let's give them a big round of applause. Thank you for bringing such a special national day gift to the overseas Chinese in the UK.
僑胞們，朋友們，
今晚，我們不僅是美妙樂(lè)章的“欣賞者”，而且我希望，我們都能成為新時(shí)代新樂(lè)章的“演奏者”。我認(rèn)為，我們可以一起攜手奏響“三個(gè)樂(lè)章”：

Dear Friends:
Tonight, we are here to enjoy beautiful music. But I think we have our own music to make. I hope we could all join in to play the three movements of the new era.
一是和平與發(fā)展的主題樂(lè)章。一個(gè)時(shí)代有一個(gè)時(shí)代的主題。當(dāng)今世界正在經(jīng)歷百年未有之大變局。在這個(gè)大變局中，和平與發(fā)展仍然是當(dāng)今時(shí)代主題。面對(duì)時(shí)代主題，中國(guó)愿同世界各國(guó)攜手構(gòu)建人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體，發(fā)展全球伙伴關(guān)系，拓展互利合作，走出一條相互尊重、公平正義、合作共贏的國(guó)與國(guó)交往新路，讓世界更加安寧，讓人類(lèi)更加幸福。
The first movement is peace and development. This is the theme of our times.
We live in a world that is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century. Amid the tremendous changes, peace and development remain the theme of our times.
In face of this theme, China is ready to work with global partners to build a community with a shared future for mankind, where countries respect each other, uphold equity and justice, and engage in win-win cooperation.
This is a world where mankind deserves peace and happiness.
二是文明交融互鑒的時(shí)代樂(lè)章。一個(gè)時(shí)代有一個(gè)時(shí)代的主旋律。當(dāng)前，單邊主義和保護(hù)主義甚囂塵上，那些四處挑起“貿(mào)易戰(zhàn)”、極力鼓吹文明沖突論的論調(diào)，是赤裸裸的霸凌主義，不得人心，必將被歷史所唾棄。各種文明應(yīng)相互交流、交融互鑒，才能使世界文明的花園百花齊放、生機(jī)盎然。我衷心希望，中華青少年交響樂(lè)團(tuán)此次來(lái)英演出，將為促進(jìn)中英人文交流、增進(jìn)兩國(guó)人民友誼、促進(jìn)東西方文明互鑒做出貢獻(xiàn)。
The second movement is integration and mutual learning between civilisations. This is the overarching melody of our times.
Unilateralism and protectionism are not the theme of our times. Nor are "trade wars" or "conflict of civilisations". These naked acts of bullying are against the general trend of our times. They are losing hearts and minds, and are doomed to be renounced by history.
Exchanges, integration and mutual learning are the only way to ensure that all civilisations flourish together.
I sincerely hope that the performance of NYO-China in London will contribute to the cultural exchange between China and the UK, to friendship between our peoples, and to mutual learning between the Eastern and Western civilisations.
