2. Mercury weighs about 13 times as much as water,
水銀的重量約為水重的13倍。
注：有時一些不可的抽象名詞也可用復(fù)數(shù)表示多次反復(fù)的事情。例如：
1. The patient had vomitings after the operation.
患者手術(shù)后常有嘔吐。
2. In early phase of rheumatoid arthritis the disease is characterized by remissions and relapses.
類風(fēng)濕關(guān)節(jié)炎的早期特征是時好時壞。
