今年是中國(guó)改革開放40周年，也是貫徹中共十九大精神的開局之年。中國(guó)外交將在習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義思想的指引下，拿出新作為，展現(xiàn)新氣象，奮力譜寫中國(guó)特色大國(guó)外交新篇章，更好造福中國(guó)人民和世界各國(guó)人民。
中國(guó)古代思想家孔子說(shuō)，益者三友，友直、友諒、友多聞。長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)，中國(guó)發(fā)展高層論壇秉持“聽取世界的聲音，探索中國(guó)發(fā)展之路”的宗旨，已經(jīng)成為國(guó)際社會(huì)了解中國(guó)的重要窗口、中外交流互鑒的重要平臺(tái)和助推中國(guó)改革發(fā)展合作的重要“朋友圈”。相信本屆論壇一定能夠?yàn)樵鲞M(jìn)中國(guó)與世界的理解、友誼和合作作出新的貢獻(xiàn)。中國(guó)衷心希望同世界各國(guó)加強(qiáng)交流合作，共襄構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體偉業(yè)!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
This year marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up and kicks off the implementation of the decisions of the 19th CPC National Congress. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we in the diplomatic service will take new steps, get on a new look and endeavor to write a whole new chapter of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, to the greater benefit of the people of China and beyond.
Confucius taught us that a helpful friend is upright, honest and knowledgeable. The China Development Forum, with the purpose of heeding the voice of the world and exploring the development path of China, has become an important window for the international community to know more of China, an important platform for exchange and mutual learning between China and the rest of the world, and an important source of friendly forces for China's reform, development and external cooperation. I am confident that this year's forum will make new contribution to enhancing the mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between China and the rest of the world. China looks forward to strengthening exchange and cooperation with other countries to realize the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
