Opening Remarks by Ambassador Li Chao at the Ceremony of Guangzhou Hangxin Aviation Technology's Acquisition of Magnetic MRO

各位朋友，
早上好！今天，我很高興與各位來賓一起，出席廣州航新航空科技股份有限公司成功收購愛沙尼亞Magnetic飛機(jī)維修公司（Magnetic MRO）的交割慶祝儀式。
首先，我代表中國駐愛沙尼亞大使館對該項交易的順利進(jìn)行表示熱烈祝賀！對愛沙尼亞投資局幫助兩家公司牽線搭橋、最終促成本次合作表示高度的贊賞！

Good morning! Today, it gives me great pleasure to join you at the Ceremony of Guangzhou Hangxin Aviation Technology's Acquisition of Magnetic MRO.
May I first of all extend, on behalf of Chinese Embassy to Estonia, my warmest congratulations to the success of this acquisition! I also would like to express my deep appreciation to Estonian Investment Agency for their efforts to help connect the two companies and finally facilitate their cooperation.
今天的活動有著特殊意義，也創(chuàng)下了一些新的記錄。這是中愛兩國首次在航空工業(yè)領(lǐng)域的合作，也是中國企業(yè)迄今為止在愛沙尼亞金額最大的一筆投資，更將是兩國企業(yè)融合文化、肩并肩開拓全球市場的新的標(biāo)桿。中國航空工業(yè)雖起步晚，但發(fā)展迅速，航空市場規(guī)模不斷擴(kuò)大，飛機(jī)維修需求不斷擴(kuò)大。2017年，中國航空維修市場總量超過7億歐元。中愛雙方在航空工業(yè)領(lǐng)域的合作具有巨大潛力和廣闊前景。航新科技是中國最大的從事航空部附件維修企業(yè)之一，在東南亞、中東、歐洲等地都有業(yè)務(wù)。Magnetic公司也是愛沙尼亞的明星企業(yè)，在歐洲有著很高的知名度。他們的合并是真正的強(qiáng)強(qiáng)聯(lián)合，不僅將進(jìn)一步提升航新科技的競爭力，也將進(jìn)一步發(fā)展Magnetic公司的全球業(yè)務(wù)，實現(xiàn)互利共贏，實現(xiàn)“1+1大于2”的經(jīng)濟(jì)效益。除此之外，我認(rèn)為這件喜事還體現(xiàn)以下三點意義：
Today's event is of especial significance because it sets a string of new records. It is the first aviation industry cooperation project between our two countries, as well as the biggest investment made by Chinese companies in Estonia so far. This cooperation will also serve as a new benchmark for companies from our two countries to integrate their culture and explore global market shoulder by shoulder.
China's aviation industry, although a late starter, is developing fast as China's aviation market and aircraft maintenance market keep expanding. In 2017, China's aviation maintenance market achieved more than 700 million euros. China-Estonia cooperation in the aviation industry enjoys great potential and broad prospects. Hangxin Aviation Technology is one of China's largest aviation accessory maintenance companies, with its business spreading across southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe etc.. Magnetic MRO is also a star enterprise in Estonia and has a high reputation in Europe. Their merger is a real combination, which will not only further enhance the competitiveness of Hangxin Aviation Technology, but also enable Magnetic MRO to expand its global business, leading to mutual benefit and win-win outcomes and realizing the economic benefits of "1 + 1 greater than 2". In addition, I think the significance of this deal is three-fold.
