新年伊始到訪菲律賓，我感到十分高興。有人說菲律賓是地球上的一方天堂，我和許多到訪過菲律賓的朋友都贊同這個比喻。我也高興地看到越來越多的中國民眾到訪這個魅力非凡的國度，探尋其魅力之所在。
China and ASEAN: Together for Vision 2030
On Feb. 27, 2019, the Philippine English newspaper the Philippine Star published the article "China and ASEAN: Together for Vision 2030"written by H.E. Mr. Huang Xilian, Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN. The full text is as follows:
As China's Ambassador to ASEAN, it is my great pleasure to visit this lovely country in my tour of duty at the beginning of the year, a country known for its natural beauty and the warmth of its people. It is also encouraging to see more and more Chinese visit this country in search of its charm and wonder.
最近有兩件大事引起中國民眾對菲律賓的關(guān)注持續(xù)上升。一件是去年11月，習近平主席成功實現(xiàn)首次對菲國事訪問，推動中菲關(guān)系升級為全面戰(zhàn)略合作關(guān)系，引領(lǐng)中菲關(guān)系進入更高的發(fā)展軌道。
另一件是去年8月，菲律賓開始擔任中國－東盟關(guān)系協(xié)調(diào)國，同年11月第21次中國—東盟領(lǐng)導人會議取得一系列豐碩成果，并發(fā)表了《中國—東盟戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系2030年愿景》，為雙方未來合作制定了中長期規(guī)劃，標志著中國—東盟關(guān)系進入全方位發(fā)展的新階段。良好的開端是成功的一半。我們期待菲律賓擔任協(xié)調(diào)國3年期間發(fā)揮好橋梁作用，推動中國與東盟更好地聯(lián)結(jié)起來，實現(xiàn)雙方關(guān)系新的更大提升。
Two major headlines about the Philippines captured Chinese media in recent months. The first is the state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping last November, elevating the China-Philippines relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The other is Philippines' takeover of the 3-year term country coordinatorship for China-ASEAN dialogue relations last August. The China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership Vision 2030, an outcome document issued at the 21st China-ASEAN Summit last November, has laid out a medium-and long-term blueprint for future cooperation and set up a new stage of all-round development for China-ASEAN relations. It bolds well for the beginning of Phillipines' role as country coordinator over the next 3 years, which we believe will serve as a bridge and facilitator for closer China-ASEAN strategic partnership in the decade to come.
去年，我們共同慶祝了中國－東盟建立戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系15周年，雙方關(guān)系展現(xiàn)出可喜的新氣象，呈現(xiàn)出令人鼓舞的新勢頭。
高層互動有新突破。習近平主席在多雙邊場合會見了東盟各國領(lǐng)導人。李克強總理對東盟秘書處進行了歷史性訪問。東盟各國領(lǐng)導人、東盟秘書長林玉輝、四位副秘書長、東盟十國常駐代表分別訪華。這種頻密的高層交往對雙方關(guān)系發(fā)展發(fā)揮了強有力的牽引作用。
Last year marked the 15th anniversary of China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership. With joint efforts, this relationship has scored many achievements and shown new momentum for further progress.
Breakthroughs have been made in high-level visits.Last year, President Xi Jinping met with leaders of ASEAN countries on bilateral and multilateral occasions, deepening policy exchange and strategic communication. Premier Li Keqiang made a landmark visit to the ASEAN Secretariat. Several leaders of ASEAN countries, ASEAN Secretary-General and the Committee of Permanent Representatives (CPR) of ASEAN all paid successful visits to China on separate occasions. Such frequent high-level exchanges have played a critical role in developing our relations.
