也許這些直升機(jī)之間的最重要區(qū)別在于它們的動(dòng)力源不同。（名詞短語(yǔ)power source后增譯了形容詞"不同"）
四、增譯副詞
根據(jù)原文的上下文，有些動(dòng)詞前可以增譯副詞，在不改變?cè)獾幕A(chǔ)上，可使譯文更加符合漢語(yǔ)的修辭需要和表達(dá)習(xí)慣。如：
j. Scientists believe that a way to improve the power of the brain may soon be possible.
科學(xué)家們深信，不久便有可能找到一種方法來(lái)改善大腦的功能。
k. Experiment shows no evidence of the production of explosive forces.
實(shí)驗(yàn)表明，絲毫沒(méi)有產(chǎn)生爆炸力的跡象。
五、增譯代詞
所謂的增譯代詞是指通過(guò)在句首增譯“人們”、“有人”、“我們”等泛指代詞，將英語(yǔ)的被動(dòng)句翻譯為漢語(yǔ)的主動(dòng)句。有時(shí)，翻譯英語(yǔ)的主動(dòng)句時(shí)也增譯代詞，這完全是為了遵循漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)習(xí)慣。如：
l. With the popularity of USB peripherals, it is believed USB interfaces would become a standard feature for monitors.?
隨著USB外部設(shè)備的普及，人們相信USB接口會(huì)成為顯示器的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)部件。（增譯了 "人們"）
m. It is recommended that a gauging with GO screw caliper gages should be supplemented by with the GO screw ring gauge.
我們建議用通端螺紋卡規(guī)測(cè)量時(shí)，應(yīng)當(dāng)用通端螺紋環(huán)規(guī)來(lái)補(bǔ)充。（增譯了 "我們"）
