When the patient has abdominal distention, constipation, swelling of the abdomen, adverseness of the vital energy up-reaching to the chest, laryngopharnx, and his breathing is heavy and rapid with sound, prick the acupoints of the Foot Shaoyang Channel.

腹?jié)M食不化，腹向向然，不能大便，取足太陰[太陰:《甲乙》卷九第七作“太陽”]。

When the patient has abdominal fullness, the food can not be digested, the abdomen has asthenia-type flatulence and the patient can hardly move the bowels, it should be treated by pricking the acupoints of the Foot Taiyang Channel.

心痛引腰脊，欲嘔，取足少陰。

When the waist and the spine are drawn by the heartache to become painful and the patient wants to vomit, prick the acupoints of the Foot Shaoyin Channel.

心痛，腹脹。嗇嗇然，大便不利，取足太陰。

When one has heartache, abdominal distention and dry stool, prick the acupoints of the Foot Taiyin Channel.

心痛引背不得息，刺足少陰;不已，取手少陽[少陽:《千金》卷十三第六作“少陰”]。

When the back has unceasing pain drawn by heartache, prick the acouponts of the Foot Shaoyin Channel, if it is not alleviated, prick the acupoints of the Hand Shaoyin Channel.

心痛引小腹?jié)M，上下無常處，便溲難，刺足厥陰。

When one has heartache, abdominal distention, pain in the upper and lower sides without a definite position with constipation and dysuria, prick the acupoints of the Foot Jueyin Channel.

心痛，但短氣不足以息，刺手太陰。

When one has heartache, short of breath and dyspnea, prick the acupoints of the Hand Taiyin Channel.

心痛，當(dāng)九節(jié)刺之，按，已[按已:《太素》卷二十六《厥心痛》作“不已”]刺按之，立已;不已，上下求之，得之立已。

When treating heartache, it should prick the position under the ninth vertebra (the Jinsuo point of Du Channel), before pricking, press and rub the acupoint, after pricking, press and rub it again, and the pain can be alleviated; if it is not alleviated, seek and prick the acupoint which is related to the disease from the shu-points of the back, when the proper point is pricked, the pain will be alleviated.

顑痛，刺足陽明曲周動脈見血，立已;不已，按人迎于經(jīng)，立已。

When one's cheek is painful, prick the surrounding artery of the curved jaw which is the Foot Yangming Channel (Jiache point) until bleeding , and the pain will be relieved immediately; if it is not relieved, prick the Renying point and press the related channel, apply shallow puncture and avoid to prick the artery, the pain will be relieved.

氣逆上，刺膺中陷者與下胸動脈。

When one has adverseness of vital energy, prick the acupoint in the cave-in which is beside the chest (Wuyi point of Foot Yangming Channel) and the artery under the chest.

腹痛，刺臍左右動脈，已刺按之，立已;不已，刺氣街，已刺[已刺:《甲乙》卷巻九第七無“已刺”二字]按之，立已。

When one has abdominal pain, prick the arteries on the left and right sides of the navel and press after pricking, the pain can be relieved immediately; if it is not relieved, prick again the Qichong point and press it, the pain can be ceased.

痿厥為四末束晚，乃疾解之，日二，不仁者十日而知，無休，病已止。

When treating the muscular flaccidity and coldness of the extremities, bind the four extremities of the patient until he is disquieted, then untie him hastily, and it should be done twice a day. If the patient does not feel disquieted, he will feel so after ten days, the treating must not be discontinued before the disease is recovered.

噦，以草刺鼻，嚏，嚏而已;無息，而疾迎引之，立已;大驚之，亦可已。

When one hiccups, prick the nose with a piece of straw to cause him sneeze, and it will be ceased: it can also cause the patient to hold his breath and induce the up-reversing energy to descend rapidly, and the hiccup can be stopped; if the patient can be caused to have fright greatly, the hiccup can also be stopped.
