1.中國是東盟的好鄰居、好伙伴、好朋友，中同政府高度重視加強同東盟的睦鄰友好合作，將一如既往，堅定奉行“與鄰為善，以鄰為伴”的周邊外交方針，支持東盟一體化和共同體建設(shè)，支持東盟在東亞合作中發(fā)揮主導(dǎo)作用，同東盟實現(xiàn)共同發(fā)嵌、互利共贏。
China，as a good neighbor, good partner and good friend of ASHAN, attaches great importance to strengthening good-neighborly and friendly cooperation with ASEAN. China will as always firmly adhere to the foreign policy of treating its neighbors well and as partners and support ASEAN integration and community-building as well as ASEAN's leading role in East Asian cooperation, so as to achieve common development and win-win outcome together with ASEAN.
2.中方一直主張并且支持東盟在東亞區(qū)域合作方面起主導(dǎo)作用，我們支持東盟的主導(dǎo)地位。當然，我們也歡迎其他各方對地區(qū)一體化提出積極的建議，作出積極的努力，這也是中國自身的態(tài)度。
China has always maintained that ASEAN should play a leading role in East Asian regional cooperation, and has supported ASEAN's leadership role. At the same time, we welcome constructive ideas from and active efforts by other parties in promoting regional integration and that is also the approach of China.
3.我們同有的東盟國家之間存在的問題解決起來需要耐心、時間和智慧。在問題解決前，千萬不要使問題復(fù)雜化，使矛盾升級，影響雙方合作的大局。要相信即使我們這一代不能根本解決，我們的子孫后代也一定有智慧有能力找到滿意的解決辦法。
It takes patience, time and wisdom to resolve issues between China and some ASEAN countries. Pending a solution, we must not complicate or even aggravate the issues, for it would consequently affect our overall cooperation. Even if our generation cannot fundamentally solve the problems, we should have faith in the wisdom and capability of future generations. They will find satisfactory solutions.
4.美國是東亞國家的重要合作伙伴，也是中國的重要合作伙伴。我們重視同美國的關(guān)系，無意也不可能排擠美國，愿意看到美國為促進亞洲的穩(wěn)定與發(fā)展發(fā)揮建設(shè)性作用。
The United States is an important partner for East Asian countries as well as for China. We value our relationship with the United States and we have neither the intention nor the ability to push it out. We are willing to see the United States play a constructive role in promoting stability and development in Asia.
5.中韓兩國1992年8月建交后，友好合作關(guān)系在各個領(lǐng)域都取得了快速發(fā)展.今年1至9月，中韓雙邊貿(mào)易額超過1000億美元，這一成果來之不易。
Since China and the ROK established diplomatic ties in August 1992, the friendly relationship and cooperation between the two countries have developed rapidly in all aspects. China-ROK trade exceeded USS100 billion in the first nine months this year. It is a hard-won achievement.
6.中日韓三國的貿(mào)易額超過了英法徳三國的貿(mào)易額。我們?nèi)龂墙?，在文化方面有很多的歷史淵源。我們理應(yīng)在當前國際金融危機的背景下進一步加強交流與合作。我們應(yīng)加快自貿(mào)區(qū)官產(chǎn)學(xué)聯(lián)合研究進程，盡快啟動官方談判，以自貿(mào)區(qū)為抓手推進地區(qū)統(tǒng)一市場建設(shè)。
Trade among China, Japan and the ROK is bigger than trade among the UK, France and Germany, Moreover, our three countries are close neighbors and share a strong historical bond of culture. In the face of the international, financial crisis, there is every reason for our three countries to enhancc exchange and cooperation. We should speed up the industry-academia- goverameat research on the Free Trade Area (FTA), launch official negotiations at an early date and, on the basis of FTA, promote the establishment of an integrated regional market.
