但要注意的是，在翻譯中運用此類替代法應有ー個限度，千萬不可單純?yōu)榱吮憩F自我而濫用漢語習語，結果破壞了原作的整體意義、文體風格和修辭效果。在使用替代法之前，我們首先要弄淸原義，決不能望文生義；其次要用準確、妥貼的習語或形象比輸來替代之，決不能想當然地亂用一氣；還要注意避免用帶有明顯漢語語言和文化色彩的詞語來替代，造成文化錯位現象。下面就是ー個比較典型的濫用漢語成語的例子：
