a) 一些與系動(dòng)詞連用的表示心理活動(dòng)與心理狀態(tài)的形容詞作表語(yǔ)時(shí)，通?？梢赞D(zhuǎn)譯為動(dòng)詞。這些形容詞常見(jiàn)的有：sure，certain，careful，anxious，cautious，able，familiar, available 等。如：

* These systems are able to execute multiple threads concurrently rather than serially.

這些系統(tǒng)能夠并行地而不是串行地執(zhí)行任務(wù)。

* It is unnecessary to be anxious, for such bearings will take considerable misalignment because of the inherent flexibility.

不必?fù)?dān)心，這種軸承因?yàn)榫哂腥嵝?，所以能承受相?dāng)大的安裝誤差。

* If extremely low-cost power were ever to become available from large nuclear power plants, electrolytic hydrogen would become competitive.
