3.“比”字譯為介詞
常見的這類介詞有 above，before，behind，below, like，over，beyond，on 等。
例7 這比其他任何事情都重要。
譯文：This is of importance before everything else.
例8 舊貨的定價(jià)，一般總比其實(shí)價(jià)低得多。
譯文：Second-hand goods are in general priced always below their value.
例9 這比你笫一次嘗試進(jìn)了一大步。
譯文:This is a big improvement on your first try/attempt.
4.“比”字譯為介詞詞組
常見的這類介詞詞組有 in contrast with, in comparison with, by comparison, by the side of, without comparison, beyond compare, past compare, beyond compare 等。
例10 與去年相比，他們今年銷售量大幅度增加。
譯文：As compared with last year, they had a rapid increase in sales.
例11 盡管他多花了一些錢，但相比之下還算便宜。
譯文：It cost more money but was cheaper by comparison.
例12 他公司的忠誠是無與倫比的。
譯文：His loyalty to the company is beyond compare.
例13 我方產(chǎn)品價(jià)格在目前市場上是無法比的。
譯文：The price of our product is out of/beyond/without comparison in the current market.
