(六）変換主語，使其符合英語的表達(dá)方式 

漢語習(xí)慣用人或有生命的東西作主語，英語則習(xí)慣用無生命或抽象的東西作主語。因此，漢譯英時(shí)，原文中以人或有生命的東西作主語往往要換成以抽象概念構(gòu)成的主語。另外為了符合英語的表達(dá)方式，也需要變換主語，例如：

1) 她出差去南京了。

Business took her to Nanjing.

2) 看見她露出了微笑，我感到滿心歡喜。

There was smile on her face and a glow of happiness filled me.

3) 我們的目的一定要達(dá)到!

Nothing shall prevent us from reaching our aim!

4) 她得到一筆優(yōu)厚的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金便出國到哈怫大學(xué)去進(jìn)修了。*

A sizable grant took her abroad to Harvard University.

5) 十年樹木，百年樹人。

It takes 10 years to grow trees but a hundred years to rear people.

6) 專業(yè)化使農(nóng)民走上了發(fā)家致富的道路。

Rural residents find prosperity in specialization.

7) 著名經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家，中國社會(huì)科學(xué)院副院長于光遠(yuǎn)認(rèn)為要將北京建成全國文化中心必須注意三點(diǎn)。
