問(wèn)：我們從外交部網(wǎng)站獲悉，昨天夜里在朝鮮發(fā)生一起重大交通事故，造成重大人員傷亡。你能否介紹情況及事故原因？中國(guó)政府為此做了哪些工作？朝方做了哪些工作？
答：昨天夜里，在朝鮮黃海北道發(fā)生的重大交通事故，已導(dǎo)致32名中國(guó)公民和4名朝鮮工作人員遇難，2名中國(guó)公民受重傷，目前情況極其危重。我們謹(jǐn)對(duì)不幸遇難的中國(guó)同胞和朝鮮人員表示沉痛哀悼，向傷者和遇難者家屬表示誠(chéng)摯慰問(wèn)。
Q: The Foreign Ministry website said in a press release that there was a serious traffic accident in the DPRK last night which has already caused heavy casualties. Can you give us more information, including the cause of the accident? what has been done on the part of the Chinese government as well as on the DPRK side?
A: Last night, a major traffic accident occurred in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK. 32 Chinese nationals and four DPRK staff members were killed in the accident. An additional two Chinese citizens were in a critical condition due to serious injuries. We express our deep condolences to the deceased compatriots and the DPRK nationals and offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased and the injured.
今天中午，外交部已派出工作組偕醫(yī)療專(zhuān)家緊急赴朝鮮，與朝方一道開(kāi)展救治等相關(guān)工作。中國(guó)政府一貫高度重視海外中國(guó)公民的安全。事發(fā)后，外交部和中國(guó)駐朝鮮使館第一時(shí)間啟動(dòng)應(yīng)急機(jī)制，會(huì)同有關(guān)部門(mén)和地方，全力開(kāi)展事故應(yīng)急處置和善后工作。
朝鮮方面也高度重視這起重大交通事故，朝方各相關(guān)部門(mén)積極配合中方全力開(kāi)展救治、善后和事故調(diào)查工作。我們將與朝方保持密切溝通和協(xié)調(diào)，全力做好后續(xù)工作。
問(wèn)：我想確認(rèn)一下朝鮮重大交通事故中的死亡人數(shù)。死亡的32人全部是中國(guó)公民嗎？是否還包括朝鮮人？中方是否將組織遇難者家屬赴朝鮮？死傷者來(lái)自哪些地區(qū)？
The Foreign Ministry has already dispatched a task force accompanied by medical experts to the DPRK this noon to work with the DPRK side on rescue operations, medical treatment and other matters. The Chinese government always attaches great importance to the safety of Chinese citizens overseas. The Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in the DPRK activated the emergency response mechanism at the earliest time possible upon learning about the accident and have been working with the relevant departments and local authorities to deal with the emergencies and make follow-up arrangements.
The DPRK side also takes this case very seriously. Its relevant departments are coordinating closely with the Chinese side in rescuing and treating the affected, in arranging for the follow-up matters, and in investigating the cause. China will remain in close communication and coordination with the DPRK to do whatever needs to be done in the next step.
Q: Can you confirm whether the death toll was 32? Were they all Chinese or does that also include DPRK nationals? Is the Chinese government helping to arrange the relatives of those who died to the DPRK? Do you know where in China they came from?
