(2) 不定式作結(jié)果狀語的譯法

不定式作結(jié)果狀語通常位于句尾，一般可以按順譯法進(jìn)行漢譯，可增譯表示結(jié)果的詞語“從而”、“使得”、“以”等，也可視情況靈活處理。如：

* Tightening the screw brings the sheets of foil closer to each other to increase the capacitance.

擰緊螺旋就使金屬箔相互靠攏，從而增大電容。

* The immunity system of a human body is beautifully designed to meet most of its problems.

人體的免疫系統(tǒng)十分精妙，足以應(yīng)付大部分疾病。 

(3) 不定式在系表結(jié)構(gòu)中作狀語的譯法

不定式可放在作表語的形容詞之后作狀語，漢譯時可采用順譯法或根據(jù)上下文靈活翻譯。如：

* The speed of the fission is difficult to control.

裂變的速度難以控制。

* Loss of control is most likely to occur on inductive loads.

這種失控現(xiàn)象在電感負(fù)載時最可能發(fā)生。
