(二十）漢語定語轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的主語
漢語定語有時(shí)可轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的主語，例如：
1) 鎂原子的最外層有多少電子？
How many electrons has a magnesium atom in its outer layer?
2) 各種材料的磁特性有很大的不同。
Various substances differ widely in their magnetic characteristics.
(二十一）漢語狀語轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的表語
漢語狀語有時(shí)可轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的表語。例如：
1)這種想法不容易出現(xiàn)，因?yàn)槿藗兊念^腦容易沿著活塞發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)或渦輪發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的傳統(tǒng)路子去思考。
This notion was probably difficult to develop because people's minds would tend to be pulled along the separate tracks of either conventional piston engines or turbines.
2) 氧不難與其它元素化合向成為ー種化合物。
It is not hard for oxygen to unite with other elements and become a compound.
3) 如須從工件上切除大量材料，最好在粗車后加工端面至精確的長度。
If a lot of material must be removed from a workpiece, it is better to face to exact length after rough turning.
(二十二）漢語狀語轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的定語
漢語狀語有時(shí)可轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的定語。例如：
1) 他深深地吸了一口氣。
He drew a deep breath,
2) 我市己經(jīng)普遍地用上了煤氣灶。
Gas stoves are now in common use in our city.
(二十三) 漢語狀語轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的謂語
漢語狀語有時(shí)可轉(zhuǎn)換成英語的謂語。例如：
1) 顯像管的作用不難說清楚。
What the image tube does is not hard to describe.
2) 工人們成功地制造了各種類別高質(zhì)量的半導(dǎo)體裝置。
The workers have succeeded in making high quality semiconductor devices of all types.
