連詞的一般譯法

三、省譯
一般來說，連詞在英語中運用較多；在漢語里，我們常可把兩個或更多的句子成分連起來而不用連詞。因此，為了符合漢語的表達和修辭習慣，有時連詞也可以省略不譯。如：
* While germanium is affected more by heat than silicon because of its lower energy gap, nevertheless this lower energy gap means that there is greater hole mobility in germanium.
鍺由于其能隙低而比硅更容易受熱的影響,然而這一較低的能隙卻意味著鍺的空穴遷 移率較大。（省譯了while)
* Electric charges, positive and negative，which are responsible for electrical force，can wipe one another out and disappear.
產生電場カ的正負電荷會相互抵消棹。（省譯了 and)
* Providing that we know both the current and resistance, the voltage can be calculated.
知道了電流和電阻，就能求出電壓。（省譯了 providing that)
